The twill fabric itself is characterized by its diagonal weave pattern, which contributes to its strength and resilience, making it the ideal choice for sports apparel that faces intense wear.
The durability of tackle twill is one of its defining features, setting it apart from other decoration methods such as screen printing or DTF.
It’s applied with reinforced stitching and heavyweight polyester thread. Easily withstanding the rigors of athletic use, frequent laundering, and rough handling—without fraying, peeling, or fading.
Unlike printed designs that can crack over time tackle twill maintains its integrity and vibrant appearance even after repeated abuse.
Sublimated Twill
Sublimated twill represents a modern evolution in athletic decoration, blending advanced printing technology with the classic durability of twill fabric.
We use the very best fabric currently available (Webster’s Lightweight Stretch Twill), chosen for its unmatched quality, strength and smooth matte surface, which is ideal for dye sublimation.
In this technique, designs—such as logos, numbers, or intricate patterns—are printed onto the twill using specialized sublimation inks that penetrate the fabric at a molecular level when heat is applied. This results in vibrant, full-color graphics that are embedded into the material rather than sitting on top.
Pantone color matching is available to ensure precise, consistent hues that align with team branding standards.
Applique
